Vesdo provided support to one of the top international research-based pharma enterprises for a Merger of traceability Systems of a newly acquired business unit. This merger was a multi-billion dollar transaction including an extensive product portfolio and several internal and external manufacturing sites. Vesdo was selected to support the integration of the acquired business unit based on their expertise and experience in track&trace / serialization processes, systems, and regulatory requirements.
Vesdo developed strategies for the Merger of Track&Trace Systems for the harmonization of traceability-relevant systems and processes and the migration of Track&Trace data. Vesdo also supported the implementation of those processes and functionalities, informal and formal testing and training. Vesdo’s long-standing experience led to early identification and mitigation of risks ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Vesdo’s support enabled one of the top international research-based pharma enterprises to implement traceability technology for secondary packaging items. This Track&Trace Equipment Qualification support activities extended across all project phases. At a time when traceability technology was still relatively new the extensive research and in-depth assesssment of the available systems and technologies performed by Vesdo paved the way to the User Requirements Specification (URS).
Vesdo developed the test protocols for FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/E2E tests in cooperation with experts from the client and vendors and monitored the test execution to help bring the equipment into a validated state.
Furthermore, Vesdo provided engineering support for the implementation of the product tracking system. The project was completed on time and in budget.

Vesdo’s supported enabled one of the top international research-based pharma enterprises to onboard 300+ Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to the corporate serialization landscape. Vesdo structured and standardized the onboarding process allowing for fast and sustained progress.
Next to managing the overall progress of onboarding activities Vesdo was also involved in the testing and validation of the serialization data exchange interfaces.

Vesdo’s support on Implementation of Anti-Counterfeiting Features enabled one of the top international pharma enterprises to implement anti-counterfeiting features on primary and secondary packaging. Vesdo’s responsibilities included project management tasks as well as project execution activities, such as development testing, development of acceptance criteria, establishing qualification requirements and procedures, performing supplier and equipment qualifications and key user trainings.
The project objectives and timelines across multiple work-streams and involving a multitude of stakeholders were fully met as planned.
